Ok, so I posted my comment in the previous blog thinking I was putting it in this one - I'll just c/p in case you don't see it :)

---------------

Will, holy crap.

I fell off the wagon after my divorce and have been away from the blogs since about October. The last time I read your blog you were 400+, just starting this and had lost like 20-30 pounds or something like that.

When I found your link on Kevin’s page, I about fell out of my chair. 126 pounds lost, and you look like an entirely different person. Hell, the guy who used to weight over 150 pounds MORE than me now weighs LESS than me.

You told me once that I was an inspiration for you. Sir, you have flipped the script on me. You’re MY inspiration now.

Keep in touch - my new blog is backunder300.blogspot.com. Talk to you soon!

A book about beer and pizza? I'll buy it!

Something I heard recently - not sure what to make of it yet - eat as much as you want as long as it's healthy. Don't worry about calories, focus more on the nutritional value of the foods you're eating. Again, I can't fully dive into that fad, but it makes sense.

Anyway, I hope the weight keeps dropping for you!

I can gain 7 pounds overnight just by eating a lot of high carb food which will make me retain a ton of water. I can then lose that pretty quickly too but that doesn't mean my underlying weight has changed.

Look at a longer term rather than a day or two or even a week.

And I found I had to up my calories a bit to see consistent downward trends.
