I've noticed the same thing Will - and that's why I've been trying to write more myself. Good luck to us!

Will,

They why is what makes our stories interesting and makes me want to read it. I want to know that someone else in this world thinks like I do on some level about food. SOmeone else battles everyday to make the best choice possible. I am curious, how come you are questioning writing about the why??? The why is the meat of your story...many people work out, eat x number of calories and lose weight...but only YOU have the exact feeligns and motivations that you have. It makes it you!

Will, I totally understand the questioning of writing the Why? for blog posts.

I find that my blog is a helpful tool, but at the same time I think that too many people in my real life know about it, and I'm not as comfortable writing about what's affecting me as I once was. So as a result I don't blog as much, and when I do it's not as good as it once was. Unfortunately the side effect of not writing was, as you noted, not thinking about it as much, and letting my efforts slip.

Write about your workouts. Write about sweating. Write about your meals. But do write.

Yeah ditto to what all these other folks said.... "don't fix what isn't broke". "Why" we do it is the most important part, part of what makes us tick. We all have our reasons and many of them are the same or very similar. If you cut the nuts off this blog its gonna be plain and boring like a white flour pancake.... YOU are what makes 4xlt interesting and what it is, dont slow your roll.

i will miss this blog if you stop! it has been very inspiring for me! And i do agree, sometimes getting over a "platue" means that you need to increase your calories in order to get past it. Good luck!
