Hey WIll,

As I read your discouragement about your gain, it reminded me of somethign my friend Aaron has told me...I found the email he wrote it in, so I wouldn't misquote it...

"This journey is about more than just weight! It is about a wholly healthy you (spiritually and physically). If you made good eating choices, were dilligent about hitting the gym, and humble before God this week and still gained a little then no worries. Weight is one measure of progress, but your heart is a truer one."

I am glad I read your blog...so I would be prompted to find that quote...cuz I think I needed to be reminded of it in its entirety...

Bless you friend!!

Haha... I laughed out loud at your comment. Yes, I plan to go to the gym more than twice biweekly. :P And writing that here means I am mostly serious about that statement.

Good job on being on track. I don't think I've ever gotten my weight loss to stick to any plan (whether I was good or not), so I'm impressed with how you do it. Don't worry too much about those 2lbs, they'll likely show up in some random, enigmatic weight loss moment.

I also remember at times wanting to hole myself up in my weight loss efforts and actually getting angry at the social invites for trying to derail my intentions, but alas you move with life or it goes on without you. I don't know quite how to balance them both yet, but it sounds like you are doing just fine.

So on that day that you gained the two lbs or whatever you wrote that you didn't get 8 hours of sleep. I hope you know how crucial sleep is to a weight loss plan! Plus you said you might have been a little under in your calories, and since you worked your butt of in the yard not having enough calories may have done it!

Regardless, YOU ARE DOING IT! You made your goal of 4lbs for the week. Don't diminish this accomplishment just because you aren't under your next big mental goal.
I am only going to weigh in on wednesdays but i lost 1lb this week and i am happy. A loss is a loss! Keep a positive mind and keep moving!
